Hi everyone, I bring you greetings from this other side.
Lately I have been thinking of a couple of things and majorly about what would be the fate of America in the nearest possible future. Well let’s say 10 years from now.
Is technology a disadvantage to us? Off course not but the challenge is that technology has entered into the hands of evil who are deploying all the arsenals possible to see to it that technology is rather miring lives and destinies instead of making it as it were.
Someone made a very funny statement some time ago on a very renounced social media platform and as funny as the statement was it speaks volumes to me personally. The person said, ‘instead of giving your children names of bible characters, teach them bible morals because yesterday I was robbed by Abraham’. It sounds very funny right but here is the truth, it doesn’t make any difference naming your ward after any great hero of time without teaching the child the good morals that these heroes’ exude.
There are basically three places a child learns from which are obviously places of great influence. The first is the home, the second is the school and lastly the place where their faith is built. It could be church, musk or wherever and in this days, the internet is one of it also and off course the primary in this day. Sadly, parents have allowed the upbringing of their wards in this days into the hands of smart internet developers.
The human system works in senses and if I wasn’t deceived while in school, we have five senses which are the sense of sight, touch, feeling, taste and hearing and all of this plays a vital rule in the formation of a child’s personality. What we see, hear and feel can either make our children better people for the society or nuisance.
While we were growing the only predominant movies we used to see was cartoons and I can vividly remember that the only at the time was Tom and Jerry and we were very excited seeing it episode by episode. It never taught us anything but it always kept us happy and lively. Sooner than later things began to change when Ben 10, Avatar and Sponge Bob came into the picture and move a little forward into the future, we started having stuffs like Superman and others as the case is now. Beautifully, it helps the parent focus on other stuffs while the children are keeping themselves busy but it developed a different kind of life or let’s call it spirit in their children.
Quickly let me tell us an experience I had some time ago. I was in the church one Sunday, usually in my church the children and the parents shared the same hall and listen to the same preacher whether they understood what the preacher is preaching or not. When it was time for the preacher to mount the stage and begin his preaching, you know as the nature of children is, they like places that makes them happy so I noticed some of the children started moving out of the church to the balcony and as message went on, I decided to step out of the hall to use the convenience and what I saw outside marveled me. Two boys where at the balcony and when I met them one was on top of the other pressing down the guy as though they were wrestling and the one underneath was seriously crying and perspiring all over but yet the one on top seems not to satisfied as he kept pressing, when I ordered them to stop, I enquired what the matter was, guess what the young boy told me, he said he was trying to learn a smart down skill he learnt from one of the wrestling he saw at home.
Isis, assassins, terrorist and hitmen all started like this because of what they were exposed to at the early age of their lives. I think that there is a certain age a child should be allowed to see wrestling and movies that has scenes that contains violence and others.
HIVE has been a womb that has birthed some many forms of creativity and has also brought out the best in her users all around the world and I am proud of the innovations happening here but it seems so much as nobody here is actually thinking about the children and I want to say this emphatically that it seems as though HIVE is neglecting the children and leaving them behind as the train is moving and I want to propose a community that will focus on promoting the formation of the total child and building them up for their future.
you are right, but since hive blockchain is still in developing stage i can say that is the reason why hive community for the children has not been created hopefully that will be done in the future
Actually I think that even at the developing stage, the children shouldn't be left behind or neglected.
For me I think this is even at the testing stage and it hasn't reach it apex yet. Let just coss all our t and dot all our i to see what will happen in the next phase
