Pulut Bakar, Aceh Special Food

For the people of Aceh, roasted pulut as I have shown above is very familiar. We can get this roasted rice at the coffee shop every morning. However, for the past few months, at my place, we can get this pulutta burn in the afternoon.

This is because, in my place is the durian season. Durian season like this, in my place not only sold durian only. However, around people who sell durian, we can find many people who sell pulut Bakar, to be enjoyed with durian. the unique thing, here we can also see the process of making pulut itself.

Because, the pulp is wrapped in leaves and burned directly on the spot, when we have ordered it, as much as we want. it might taste the same as pulut usually, but because it's still fresh from the oven, it tastes better, because it's still hot, and the smell is still very tempting. Especially when we enjoy with durian, it feels beyond words. 😀😀😀😀😋😋
