The Amanita muscaria mushroom is known to be very poisonous. In just 2-3 hours after inhaling this fungus, a person will experience effects such as diarrhea, vertigo, vomiting, and coma.
In the fruiting body of this fungus, there are ibotenic acid and muscimol compounds which are hallucinogenic and psychoactive.
These compounds can irritate the nervous system, fast heart rate, dry mouth, convulsions, and hallucinations very quickly.
