The Kochi-Muziris Biennale was established in 2011 and is the country's first-ever exhibition of contemporary art from around the world. Its history is distinctive to India's current reality and the country's political, social, and cultural scene.
The Department of Cultural Affairs of the Government of Kerala invited two artists to assist in organising a worldwide forum for art in India, and that is how the government-sponsored project got its start. The entire fest is centered within Cochin divided into a total of 17 locations including cafes, halls and warehouse. Me along with my friends were able to complete a very minute part of it by taking the whole day. Throughout this entire post I will be sharing the images and the story which attracted me the most.

There are more art works and crafts to completed apart from the ones I got to take a look at, from all the works I've seen these were some which I found depths into.(From My Perspective Only)
So, this section is going to be about one of the art work that I liked very much as it compliments with the real life scenario very much.
The image from my perspective represents farmers, the ones ones who hold the economy of the world, without whom we would probably starve to death, yet treated miserable.
Even though I was not able to watch the entire Biennale, whatever I have seen had inspired a lot, made me think and at the same time helped me know more about Art. I am not an artist and never used to know anything about art other tahn just some drawings and collages, but the entire year along with this event has helped me understand more. The MUZIRIS BIENNALE is one of an event that couldn't be missed.
