I'm an Aston guy...In fact, when I started my property development company I used an adaptation of the Aston martin name to name it. Lol. True story.
I doubt I could justify the cost though these days, not that I have the money. I see too many holidays, guns, four wheel drives, Lego builds and other things that I think would enhance my life wrapped up in there. Still, pretty cars, classy.
Lol, really?! I need to know what you called it XD I can't blame you though. It's a pretty special name!
These old Vanquishes depreciated quite a lot back when they were still in production, but I guess people really like the idea of owning a modern-classic. It's appreciated in value since, and they're usually around the £80,000-£140,000 mark nowadays, and the manual-swaps have a huge premium. For what it is though, I think it's probably worth it. I'll have even more on this car soon though, so keep an eye out!
On the subject of Legos, since you've built quite a handful so far, why not add to the British-ness alongside the Defender? Here's a Goldfinger DB5 kit from Lego, and I can imagine both you and Grouchy will be up to no good. That especially goes for the lil' green fella, because I do not want to know what happens when you fire Lego missiles up someone's arse... https://www.lego.com/en-my/product/james-bond-aston-martin-db5-10262
Yeah, I've seen that and have thought of getting it...I prefer Lego Technic though, maybe one day. I'm after the Bugatti Chiron next, but it's a little bit expensive.
I will not lie... I climaxed when I first saw that Chiron Technic kit. But yeah, it's pretty pricey. $350 USD, was it?
