This is sound advice and I agree totally. I was careful not to advise though, I was just a sounding board. She asked my opinion of course and in a loose way I gave it being mindful that her path forward needed to be self-guided to some degree. There is, as you can imagine, a lot left out of this post for privacy reasons, however I think the message comes through.
Your comment above goes for most professions too, but with the thin blue line it's so very relevant.
