The PlayStation Plus program for this month of August 2021 has just been formalized by the Japanese brand on its official blog, with two PlayStation 4 titles and a PlayStation 5 game as usual since the release of the next-gen .

It is a surprise for some but not so much for others: the new selection of games "offered" to subscribers of the online service had leaked a few days ago on one of the manufacturer's web pages. So it's Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville , Tennis World Tour 2 and finally Hunter's Arena: Legends which will be arriving.

Play with others above all

The three games all have very different vibes but do have one thing in common: all of them emphasize the multiplayer experience. Starting with the PlayStation 5 exclusive Hunter's Arena: Legends , a 30-player battle royale taking place in a world inspired by Asian culture.
The title pits humans and demons against each other in a large format battle on maps populated with dungeons. It will be necessary to manage both the creatures of evil but also the other hunters in the game who will not hesitate to put sticks in your wheels. Another mode allowing to play in squad of 3 players is also part of the game.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville offers a whole different atmosphere, much more festive and colorful. This new spin-off of the mobile game Plants vs. Zombies is the third in the multiplayer TPS series featuring characters from the franchise. Playable both online and also locally, the title expands the battle well outside of Neighborville with 20 playable character classes with different play styles. PvE modes against hordes of enemies are also present, as well as a new Battle Arena.

Finally, Tennis World Tour 2 brings racquet sport back to the fore. Whether you play one of the many stars of the sports cast or an original character in Career mode, Tennis World Tour 2 promises " dynamic, realistic and precise " gameplay halfway between simulation and arcade play. It will be possible to play singles or doubles matches, either online or locally with friends.

All three games will be available for free download to all PlayStation Plus subscribers from August 3 through September 6.
