MY HIVE INTRODUCTORY POST

Hello, Greetings to the HIVE COMMUNITY. I am so excited to be here, wish I had heard about hive long time ago, nevertheless I’m super excited to join the community.

I joined the community some days ago, I had to go through the site to see how things are done here and in my findings, the first thing is to introduce myself to the community. I am not a good content creator but I’m so willing to improve on it. FIRST OF ALL,

**INTRODUCTION ABOUT MYSELF **

My name is Avrielle meaning (to blossom). I am a nigerian. I live in Lagos, Nigeria. I was born on 15th of June, 1997. Yes, I’m a GEMINI. I love to make new friends and I love to learn and explore new things. I am a fashion designer and a freelancer French Tutor. I love to swim, I love to travel a lot and I love to see the beauty of life. I am Pulchritudinous and Sapiosexual, I am naturally attracted to highly intelligent and brilliant people. They help me grow.

**HOW I GET TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE COMMUNITY **

It all started some weeks ago when I spent most of my time on the internet searching for online jobs both day and night. Saying the country’s economy system is bad ( IT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT) I as a fashion designer could not get contracts again because people are striving to live and at least eat their 3 square meals daily, therefore sewing is the least on their list. Students were on strike which made the standard of living more expensive. I have to think of another option to double my game, thereafter I started my new job as a freelancer. During my research, I came across Hive.blog on Google search, spent hours reading about it and also watching YouTube and I got so interested in it. Why? I love to try new things, and here I am trying something new by creating content which I’ve never done before.

I learnt some few things while doing some research about the community which are:-

• I learnt introduction comes first before any other post
• I learnt plagiarism is a sin and not allowed in the community
• I also read about some DOs and DONTs of the community
• I read about voting mana, resource credit and hive power
• Finally, I learnt consistency is the KEY.

Howerever, there are some few things I would also love to be guided on. Which are:-

• How do I give credit to an original creator of a post,words or sentence or pictures to avoid plagiarism
• I learnt there are free sites for pictures that can suit my contents, can I get some recommendations please?
• Is there a way I can increase the level of my Resource credit without having to wait for days to fill up?

I would appreciate your honest response in the comment section. I am willing to learn and be guided. I do not want to go against the community rules.

Seven suggestions to consider:

1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.
