We all live in an great nation, If you ask people where they are from, most people will show a great of pride in their homestate and have plenty of stories about why they love their State. We recognize that the only way to truly understand our great country, is to hear from people who live in each of the states.
I am Icon by name I am from Akwa State in Nigeria, I was born and brought in a state call Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria, i am from a very love and caring family, i have four siblings of which i am the first born. I was born a year 14 Feb, 1999. I really love my state, but first let me tell you a little about my state. Akwa Ibom is a state located in Nigeria. The state is located in the South-South geopolitical zone, and is bordered on the east by Cross River State, and on the west by Rivers State and Abia State, and on the south by the Atlantic Ocean and the southernmost tip of Cross River State, the state was created in a year 1987 by a man called Ibrahim Babangida. Akwa Ibom state is currently the highest oil and gas producing state in the country.

Akwa Ibom is endowed with different kinds of minerals resources, resources include limestone, clay, natural gas, coal, salt, giver nitrate and glass sand, Which is one of the things that makes the state popular, this great state call Akwa Ibom is a land of peace full people with good heart.
Akwa Ibom is famous for its oil producing exploits and considered as one of the best tourist attractions in the south-south of Nigeria. Am proud to be a Nigerian, Am proud to be an Akwa Ibomite. Thanks all for visiting my blog.
