Hello hivers it's my pleasure sharing this with you.
It all about a little waterfall at the bandry between Amaizu and Amangbala in Afikpo.

This water is special for the men of both communities, women are not allowed to visit it due to the purpose it serves. This is bathing place for men only , no woman comes to the area because it's been reserved for men since the ancient history of Afikpo.

This little waterfall has a very rough and gully way that it's dangerous to be carefree while visiting the water. If one is not careful he might stumble on a snake and other reptiles. History has it that in the past that lion lived in there.

During the initiation into the Ogo cult every boy to be initiated goes there to bath because of this no woman goes there no matter what happens. The Ogo cult is very unique and important to ever Afikpo man, because if you are not a member of the Ogo cult at some point you right will be limited. They're places you are not allowed to visit, and a day you are not allowed to visit the street since the day belongs the real men, i.e those that belong to the Ogo cult.
