The love and affection of the Murshid in the heart of the disciple enlivens the mind of the Murshid. The disciple uses the power of imagination to absorb the personality of the Murshid within himself. The mental relationship established with the Murshid becomes strong. Therefore, when a disciple imagines his Murshid, the attributes of the Murshid and the abilities of the Murshid begin to circulate in his soul as long as he remains attracted to the Murshid. The constant practice of imagination strengthens a state within the disciple so that his spiritual connection with the Guru is established at all times.
The capacity for divine knowledge is constantly transferred within him. There comes a time when the disciple becomes a reflection of his Murshid. This place is called Fana Fi Sheikh in Sufism and the concept of Murshid is called Taswar Sheikh. ❤
