Why I am writing about this:
This past weekend, me and my girlfriend went to a family wedding. Her cousin was the one tying the knots, and what a wonderful experience it was to see love bloom in such a present moment.
I was always afraid of taking that step towards the future, not knowing where to go or how to do it, until I met my girlfriend. Still not knowing where the future will take me, but I know now that I want to spend my life with her!
What is Marriage?
According to sources, marriage is a culturally recognized union between two people, establishing rules between them, their children and their in-laws.
Genesis 1:27-28:
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
This shows how great our God is, he did not want people to be alone, and he gifted both man and woman the opportunity to be together. How wonderful is that? But not overrule one another, but to work together for each other, love one another, and form a bond like non other.
We as people should work together, and strive to have this opportunity hopefully once in our lives. At it is a promise before God, to serve Him, with your spouse, and form a triangle of love!
Hopefully I get the opportunity one-day to stand up front, and see the never ending love which God has provided me with!

According to what I have seen around me, many married couples are not happy. I see that people marry to have children, to get rid of the parental/public pressure and not to stay alone.
