RE: Sunday country Sunday

That's a really great life lesson - that what you think you might want to pursue may essentially be a mirage on the horizon and in fact you might just trip and fall right over the thing you were meant to do on the way to that vision. The same is true of hobbies, side passions, avocations of all kinds. You could build a kite for a child and suddenly realize that kite building is art, science, and craft in one, and the opportunities are endless. Next thing you know you have a kite hobby, or you've opened a kite shop. And then you run into someone you knew in high school, and they're like, "Weren't you going to be a psychologist?"

I also like the idea that blogging is an opportunity to organize your thoughts. I think that is why I have fallen in love with it. It's the thing I stumbled upon on the way to the mirage. I just need to sit down more often and really do it.

Much of life passes us by unless we are paying attention. The writing helps focus where we might skip over for something shinier.

One day perhaps I will be a blogger and someone will say "Weren't you in tech and owned a business?" and I can reply, - Yes, still am ;D
