It’s time to demand, Lord show me your ways that I may know You. I want to know you myself not from the past, not what others say, I don’t want my pastor to know You for me but myself, as I am, what I have, I want to know You. I hear people go the mountains, caves, forests, by the sea to look for God, I can’t but I need You here. I want my knowing You to be tailor-made. You know me, my weaknesses, intelligence, where I fail. I can’t fast like others but I want to know You. In today’s Kenya you need to know God by yourself, in a personal way to stand not others testimony.
• Moses was leading 2m people alone and he was 80 years old. God said, lead them. God did not use him when he was young because he could have used his intelligence. At 40 he tried to save them, he was strong with muscles and he killed an Egyptian. God said, I will take 40 years to make Moses then use him. He was old and slow. Moses asked whom do you send me with this people? Who will go with me? Who will be my right hand man? He was confessing, You should have used me when I was 40 now I am old and slow. God said, that’s why I want to use you because now you can trust Me. Show me Your way? Now because I live now. Some are refusing to eat well for fear of future. Live well now, eat well, dress well. When the future come it will find you. God has no future, He is now.
• Live now. You can be prayed for and be healed in your body but your mind, pocket might remain sick. We replace sickness with health. You are more than the body. It’s the whole of you; mind, relationships, sleep, decision making, social life and not just money. Do not give poor people money because they will die. Poverty is not lack of money it the mind. You can have it and sleep hungry for fear it will finish.
• This is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it. Live today as long as it is called today. God is making you rich so when your situation touches your riches you won’t change but when they come they will find you rich. You will use things, they will not use you. Seed is not money. God blesses only what is in his word. Your heart is the soil and I (Apostle) sow the seed
• God told Moses, I know the journey is thick and I know more than you know. God knows you live in Kenya and he knows it is hard, difficult today but he will not leave you. His presence will go with me. In your old age, weakness I will go with you. You may not have friends, money but have God, his presence will go with you. You will hear a voice saying, this is the way walk in it (Isaiah 30:21), in the darkness, during these times of economical problems, social problems, when men are killing wives and children the voice will be there.
• Moses said, I want to know You though I have heard Your voice and believe in You. You don’t have to be loud, light a fire like in the wilderness but I will know it is You. Know him personally. We need to know him personally, when you are alone not when singers come, preacher from Nigeria but I want to know you at a personal level not like others because I am not others. Lord, I am not as fast as others but I am Yours and I want to know You. In a family the firstborn does not know the father than the younger. Know God on your own level.
• He will find you in your house not in the caves, mountains. He is Emanuel. You are special that’s why you should praise the Lord by yourself without anyone asking you to praise. The preacher will not come to your house or place of work. A preacher does not bring the Lord so he can’t take Him away. Moses complained that he was a stammerer, God said, I know, I don’t need a talker but a deliverer. I chose you so you can speak my word that I put in your mouth because Pharaoh will never listen to anything else. God said, I will give you more than a talk but give you my presence. Time has come to experience God’s presence. The Lord’s presence must replace everything so when they are not there I will still be happy because he is with me.
• Moses, said if your presence does not go with me do not take us from here. How will others know we are Your people. God said, I know you by name not by religion – Vs 17. This day God is not blessing us wholesale but personal because you are not me nor I am I you because our needs defer. He will bless you tailor-made blessings, measured, weighed, inspected, for you alone so no one can take your blessings. You cannot take my blessings by prayer. No one can hinder God. God will bypass the preachers.
