RE: Encouraging Engagement on Hive

I also hope you are right - yes, things are looking very good here and there are not many new infections - 36 cases in the last 24 hours. We are thinking positive and I do hope like you that there won't be a second wave.

I am confident that there won't be a second wave. Or, if there is one it will be very small even though the media will try to make it sound like another powerful wave is starting.

It looks quite good here - we are very much back to a kind of "normal" life and the numbers of new infections are still about the same as in my other reply, so I think we can hope there won't be a second wave, at least not soon.
And if it should come we all are prepared and know what to do.

Don't get me wrong, but I think it is better to say the situation is bad and the people are scared than to say it is not so bad, because then the people won't care.

Howdy sir johannpiber! Yes I agree that it is better if people are a little scared so they will take precautions about the virus. It's good for them to be a little scared in that situation. Saves lives.

I just asked in another comment about the state of things as far as getting back to "normal" and I'm glad you guys are there! Over here we are at 107,000 deaths and the virus is still killing people off.

Yes, not really scared, but they should take care and not act careless because thes think it isn't that bad - it's better to be scared and stay alive than be careless and die or see somebody die.

Yes, the virus is still killing people, but they do not care - they have no jobs and they need money and food. I really understand them and it is a big dilemma in my eyes.

Howdy sir johannpiber! Yes, sadly we are at 110,000 deaths over here and in Texas the number of cases are increasing everyday as more businesses fully open back up. It was sad to read that 600 health care workers have died from the virus in the U.S. also.

And yet we still have people out there saying it was a hoax.

That is very sad, my friend, and even more sad is the fact that so many people believe them, because not everybody knows someone who got infected.
And it's sad that the people who help and work in the war against this virus have to die because they don't get enough protection gear... 😢

Howdy again sir johannpiber! Yes indeed, very sad about the health care workers but like you said in another comment about the world being better prepared for the next one, that is so true! And it seems to me that whenever you are very prepared for something bad to happen...it never does. lol..it's only when you get caught by surprise that something happens when you least expect it and are not prepared for it!
