Tom Buchanan: Deportista y comerciante famoso que esta casado con su prima y que increíblemente posee una mansión al otro lado del lago donde vive Nick.
Daisy Buchanan: Prima de Nick y esposa de Tom, enamorada en secreto de un antiguo amor que nunca regreso.
Myrtle Wilson: Esposa de un mecánico donde frecuenta Tom y que tiene algún amorío con el mismo.
Jay Gatsby: Millonario misterioso y extravagante que pocos han llegado a ver su rostro y dudan de su existencia.

El gran Gatsby es una película que deseaba ver hacer mucho tiempo, años para ser sincero, pero siempre olvidaba su nombre o nunca la encontraba. Pude llegar a verla y tengo algunas cosas que debo decir sobre el film, pero antes, debo recordar que no soy un gran experto sobre cine ni como hacerlo, solo un fanático del entretenimiento y como tal, hubieron cosas que no me gustaron.
Lo más significante que no me agrado fue la banda sonora, estuvo muy dispareja con la película, canciones de Jay Z y Sia en una película centrada en los años 1900 no combina ni haciendo un remix de la misma, debieron colocar música de jazz o solo instrumentales, para dar esa sensación de estar en ese entorno y no en un vídeo musical, ademas que la música en ocasiones bajaba de tono cuando los personajes hablaban como si esa en serio fuese la música del lugar, no me agrado para nada.
Empece esta opinión como si tuviera muchas cosas en contra de este film pero solo fueron la banda sonora y el personaje de Nick, no porque Toby Maguire fuera hecho un mal trabajo, sino que lo muestran a la primera como alguien con problemas de alcohol y no hay nadie más sano, más bien portado y bueno que Nick en el film, justo antes y después del suceso que lo cambio. No hubo esa transformación que me fuese gustado ver de como la depresión lo consumía, aparte de eso también su prima Daisy que, bueno, se dejo llevar por sentimientos y nunca me han gustado ese estilo de personajes, mal hecho Daisy, muy mal hecho.
The Great Gatsby is a movie I wanted to see a long time ago, years to be honest, but I always forgot it name or never found it. I was able to see it and I have some things to say about the film, but before, I must remember that I am not a great expert on cinema or how to do it, just an entertainment fan and as such, there were things that I did not like.
The most significant thing that I did not like was the soundtrack, it was very uneven with the film, songs by Jay Z and Sia in a film focused on the 1900s does not combine or remix it, they had to put jazz music or just instrumentals, to give that feeling of being in that environment and not in a music video, in addition to the fact that the music sometimes dropped in pitch when the characters spoke as if that really was the music of the place, I did not like it at all.
I started this opinion as if I had many things against this film but it was only the soundtrack and the character of Nick, not because Toby Maguire was done a bad job, but they show him the first time as someone with alcohol problems and not There is nobody healthier, more well-behaved and good than Nick in the film, just before and after the event that changed him. There was no transformation that I liked to see how depression consumed him, apart from that also his cousin Daisy who, well, she was carried away by feelings and I have never liked that style of characters, badly done Daisy, very badly done.
El Gran Gatsby tiene una buena historia y modo de contarla, no puedo decir que no, para pasar el rato queriendo ver algo esta película es buena y entretenida y con una buena duración de dos horas, la recomiendo de igual forma.
