I'm not good at writing, so I try to express myself through the images that I capture with my camera. But within the field of photography there are several branches, and we cannot pretend to be good in each of them, it is best to dedicate time and energy to what we really like and allows us a better channel to express our way of understanding art photographic.
My photographic preferences include three fields, nature photography (landscape, flora and fauna), Street photography and macro photography. Today I want to share with you a series of pictures that are located within the field of macro photography, these are high-speed photography of water drops, where I also practice the refraction of images through the drops to create a whole new world of lively and funny images.
Taking pictures of water requires a lot of patience and work, at least in my case, since the entire capture process is completely manual, without the help of electronic devices for synchronizing the fall of the water drop and the shutter of the camera. The equipment used to take the photographs is made up of:
- Sony A77 camera
- 18-55mm lens
- Raynox 250 DCR Macro Lens
- External flash
- Water Containers
- Droppers
It is a real pleasure for me to be able to share with you this work which I have called water sculptures, due to the extraordinary and fun forms that I was able to capture. It is my wish that you enjoy and have fun with this work.
