Hello everyone, my name is k-banti, and hope I meet you all doing good.. Oh, wait, let's rewind on that.

It's a pleasure for me to have been successfully onboarded on the new HIVE Platform, and I'm thrilled to be making an introduction about myself to the members of the community.

Who Am I?

My name is Olowu Kayode, but I'm popularly know on the social media sphere as k-banti. I'm presently aged 19, but few months from now I'll clock 20. I'm a Nigerian, and I also live in Nigeria. I'm from the western part of Nigeria which is the Yoruba tribe. I'm a student and I'm presently studying Electrical/Electronic Engineering at the Yaba College of Technology, Yaba Lagos, Nigeria. I'm presently in pursuit of my Higher National Diploma (HND) qualification. I aspire to become an Electronic Engineer and also a Videographer/Cinematographer.

What Do I Do?

Asides from being a student who's studying Electrical/Electronic Engineering, I also have some other things in which I'm involved in.

First off, which is still in relation to my career path is Programming. I got into programming just one year ago, in which I started with C/C++ programing language. It was kinda challenging for me at first and I had to later step down to Block programing software, which is the extreme basis for learning programming, and its mostly used by kids form ages 5 - 12. With the help of the Blocks programming software, I later became good in C/C++ programing language, and from there I proceeded into learning HTML also.
I'm good in programming with C/C++, and Block coding. Mostly because I use C/C++ in programming Electronic Microcontroller often, and I also teach kids the basics of programming using Block coding during Summer. I only know how to use HTML programming language to design the front end of a web page. I also got to discover there were little HTML in the post formatting back then on Steemit.

Secondly, I do Graphics designing. I'm a bit of a Graphics designer, but more of a Motion graphics Artist. I acquired these skills too a year ago also during my Industrial Training (IT). The year 2019 was actually a year of breakthrough and skill acquisition for me. I design with CorelDraw mostly, and use Photoshop for finishing touches. I create motion graphics using Adobe After Effect. Still in a continual process of learning both softwares tho. But I've been creative with the knowledge I've acquired so far.

And Lastly, I'm a Blogger/Vlogger. As at three years ago, I knew almost nothing about these things. But all thanks to Steemit, it taught me what blogging/vlogging is and how to do them. Steemit really helped me to discover I could also write(blog)/vlog. Since then, I've written various articles about myself, for organizations and its product, and lot more. Also, I have made personal vlogs and product videos for organizations, through the help of YooDoo formally know as Oracle-D on Steemit.

That's a bit about what I do for now. Looking forward to acquire more skills either from here on anywhere else as time goes on.

What's My Aim/Goal On HIVE?

My main aim with Hive is to build relationship with individuals and get to know more people around the world. It was what I missed out on Steemit. Asides, from that, I also intend to impacting individuals on HIVE with my knowledge and skills. I also intend to support communities built on Hive in whatever way I can.
Finally, I plan to maximize my skill with Hive in order to earn relieving rewards.

Nice to meet you, @k-banti! Programming can be a lot of fun (and a pain), as well as very rewarding. I hope you keep at it and develop your skills. Perhaps you'll build something for Hive someday :)

Thanks @nuthman... Yeah, i agree with you. It's much more fun (and pain) when you've and idea and you're trying to implement it. Yea, I'll keep working on my programming skills. Hahahaaa, that would be a major achievement for me. Thanks, once again.

Wow, I'm flattered... Thanks for the kind words. I also just learnt some specific part of the CorelDRAW, what i can do with it is quite limited. Also, these softwares really require one to consistently practice them, if not, one will tend to forget them.
