I'm super exhausted due to the stressful fun activity that has been going on in my maternal part of Nigeria. The traditional marriage was on the 30th while the white wedding took place yesterday.
I would have to steal some pictures from @nkemakonam89 so that I will give you the highlights of that occasion. Hehe.
No marriage pictures means no marriage talks (at least, for today), but the universe have offered us something great to talk about.
Yeah, it's A NEW YEAR.
Wowww... All I want to say to everyone on here is "HAPPY NEW YEAR".
I didn't want to miss New Year Eve's crossover Mass, but I missed it for unavoidable reasons. Thankfully, I made up for that with a crossover service which I attended with my siblings, Mum, Cousins, Uncles and Aunties. We all went to an Anglican Church and it was a nice experience.
Immediately it clocked 00:00, screams of 'Happy New Year' and thunderous firecrackers were heard all over the place. Most of the religious activity was already done so, we all fixed our clock on our clock as jointly joined a countdown to the New Year.
What an experience!
2021 is finally done and dusted.
Last year was a very complex one. It came with a good blend of various emotions. I can still recall how I uncontrollably shed tears on 3 different occasions. At that time, I didn't have any control over the things I encountered, but all my tears can now be called tears of joy because my life was shaped by those tears.
Everything I lost throughout last year is no longer counting as a loss for me.
Hey, I'm not just saying that to feel good. I'm saying this because I can see the light of God on my path and things can only get better for me and of course, for you too...if you believe.
Without digging deeper, I would end with the impression that a word is enough for the wise.
This is a new year. Don't expect a different result from repeating the same thing.
