RE: MY INTRODUCTORY POST ON HIVE

in OCD3 years ago

Hello @jacksonmark1x1! This is @jcrodriguez from the @OCD team. Welcome to hive!Congratulations on making your first publication and introducing yourself to the community.

How did you get to know the platform? It would be great if you could tag the person who introduced you to Hive, so that they could find out that you have started publishing and be pleasantly surprised.

I also invite you to explore other communities that you might like in this post: OCD Communities Incubation Program. There is a wide variety of topics. Check out all the communities. If you are looking for tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: newbie guide. They are easy to understand and useful for learning how the platform ecosystem works.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.

If you have questions or concerns, you can hop into OCD's Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions.

Hi @lovesniper I wasn’t really introduced by anyone did I read through some articles online and then I decided to try getting along with the platform, I just want to know how it works and the things that are highly prohibited here

Nobody introduced you to the platform? So you don't know the person who delegated HP to you?

The delegator of the HP is my friend, he told me about the platform but then I couldn’t sign up through him because it wasn’t free to sign up, after some months I had to try doing it myself and then I made it here. He delegated the HP to help me create my post, as such I should make him my referee @dave-estates
