Declutters to the rescue!

in #ocd3 years ago

Decluttering, is one of the most important costumes in Iran when it comes to New Year.

Around the spring, you can smell the scent of washing materials all over the place. Everyone is cleaning up and decluttering...

In fact, people give a hand to each other when things get a bit heavy and out of control.

two of our friends have been having a bit of construction lately and it has over lapped with their new year's cleaning, and things had gone a bit tough on them.

So, yesterday, we went to their house to basically push the work forward(in fact Imma go back there right after I'm done with this post!).

These friends of mine, have been working to add a gathering place and a studio as one of them is illustrator who has her own students.

She's having more students, and in fact I'm one of them. So it was a necessary move for them to make.

First, we had to clean up the yard which was full of left over construction materials that had been there for maybe past 2 months or so...

So we lightened up some music to bring up the spirits for a great start, and it actually started with some dancing while moving towards our stations. 😅

An amazing thing does always happen when you are doing something for the ones you adore, and it's the fact that you don't really feel any pressure.
I mean whatever work there is, your just gonna do it for them.

The love you have for them over takes all the hardship of the work, and in fact you enjoy the labor...

@navidjahanshahi, and Nima his brother aka ''Monkeyboi'',were there to help us out as well...

Looking at these two, reminds me of the history we three have been having together for the past 3 years that we've mingling.

Major changes can be seen in all of us, and it's just amazing...

In the morning we did clean up the yard and moved some heavy shelves to their studio.
There were many important and fragile art works around there which we had to move with care. So cleaning up the yard was a smart move.

Right after the heavy work, we were starting to get hungry so Samira brought us a very delicious lunch which we murdered and murdered us. I personally couldn't move for an hour! 😂

The great food made us all slow and groggy. Even the dog was tired and cranky. So we decided to continue with the lighter work...

We went up to the studio and started to arrange the stuff we had brought up. So many options for decoration and many things to do. Anyway we started with mounting some frames on the wall.

By the sunset time, we were almost out of energy and decided to call it a day. Their work wasn't done and still isn't, but I could see their satisficed faces. We did get done a lot of work for them and push their work forward.

Hopefully I'll be able to get more things done for them today as well...
