Hola, me llamo Manny Mango y soy una fruta. Je, bueno, no realmente.
Tengo 45 años, así que ya califico como una fruta madura. Sin embargo, creo que para muchos aspectos sigo verde.
La cáscara es lo más nutritivo
Esto es especialmente cierto en lo relacionado a finanzas personales. A pesar que he tenido y tengo diferentes empredimientos, creo que me falta mucho por aprender sobre economía, finanzas e inversiones, tanto a nivel empresarial como personal.
Fue precisamente en esa búsqueda de conocimientos que hizo que llegara a este emocionante proyecto: el blog de Hive. Empecé por leyendo sobre las criptomonedas y terminé encontrando esta moneda pero descubriendo que era mucho más que eso.
¡Y vaya qué concepto el del blockchain de Hive! Pero, este post no es sobre Hive, es para contarles un poco sobre mí y poder convencerlos de que vale la pena leer mi contenido. ¡Espero que sí!
Dicen que la parte más nutritiva de una fruta es la cáscara que es donde se concentran las vitaminas. De la misma manera, creo que mi primer interés que hizo que llegara aquí, aprender sobre finanzas personales, será lo que estará más expuesto en mi muro. Lo que aprenda en este viaje, lo compartiré en este blockchain. No sé si escribir en Hive llegue a ser una actividad que me alimente economicamente, pero estoy seguro que me complementará con una buena dosis de vitaminas.
La pulpa es lo más rico
Sin embargo, necesito algo que me llene. Que tenga sustancia. Que pueda sentir su textura. Y esas son mis pasiones: los libros, la música, las películas... el proceso creativo. Me encanta entender cómo los seres humanos somos capaces de producir belleza, verdad y bondad.
¿Esta apreciación está contrapuesta al interés económico mencionado más arriba? Creo que producir riqueza es, de forma inherente, una manera de crear. Como en el arte, hay fórmulas... pero el verdadero éxito se encuentra cuando aplicamos la creatividad para producir mejores resultados (sin descuidar la ética, por supuesto).
La pepa
Espero que tenga sentido lo que les comento... a veces tengo tantas cosas en mente que es difícil encaminar estos intereses en una dirección concreta. Tengo más frutas y víveres que quisieran desencadenarse en la cadena de Hive. Pero empecemos con esta pequeña semilla, con esta pepa. Quien sabe, quizá termine con un salad bar completo.

Although I had and still have different business ventures, I believe that I still have a lot to learn about economics, finance and investments, both at a business and personal level.
It was precisely this quest for knowledge that led me to this exciting project: the Hive blog. I started by reading about crypto and ended up finding this currency. I realized it was much more than that.
And what a concept the Hive blockchain is! But this post is not about Hive. I want to tell you what drives me so I can convince you that my content is worth reading. (I hope so!)
They say that the most nutritious part of a fruit is the peel which is where the vitamins are concentrated. In the same way, I believe that my first interest that made me come here -learning about personal finance-, will be the main theme on my Hive blog. What I learn on this journey, I will share on this blockchain. I don't know if writing in Hive will become an activity that will "feed" me financially, but I'm sure it will complement me with a good dose of vitamins.
The pulp is the richest thing
However, I need something that fills me up. Something that has substance. Something with texture. And those things are my passions: books, music, movies... the creative process. I love to understand how human beings are capable of producing beauty, truth and goodness.
Is this appreciation at odds with the economic interest mentioned above? I believe that producing wealth is inherently a creative act. As in art, there are formulas... but true success is found when we apply creativity to produce better results (without neglecting ethics, of course).
The seed
I hope this makes sense... sometimes I have so many things on my mind that it's hard to focus these interests in a particular direction. I have more fruits and groceries that I would like to feature in the Hive blockchain. But let's begin with this little seed. Who knows, maybe I'll end up with a full salad bar.
