Hi guys! Greetings, I am Gabriel, and I'm really pleased to star my journey here on Hive.
Actually, I've been on other content curating platforms, but never had an experience of being on the Hive platform
I'd certainly like to appreciate all my friends for bringing such a wonderful platform to my door step. This will broaden my horizon as a content curator and bring a whole new experience as I intend to interact with funful and loving users of the Hive platform and learn as well as contribute a lot to the platform from my little corner.

well, I am Ogbu Gabriel, I am currently in my final year as a college student, with Engineering as my background. Taking up Engineering as a course was a no joker. Like, seriously, Engineering wasn't a cheese at all. Imagine doing calculations with not number in it at all 😄.some of my engineering mates here can attest to that-you know, the fluid mechanics, and all of those stuffs…
But all the same, life as a college student has been a wonderful experience, especially in terms of meeting new people of like passions
As a writer, I love writing about anything that would be a source of relief to my readers in areas that need addressing. This has made me kind of vast in my scope of writing. Some of the areas include fiction writing, inspirational and motivational writing, 'how-to' writing and spiritual writing.
What brought about my writing to bring relief to people on subjects that required an addressing spurns generally from the fact that whenever I got depressed, I wrote; whenever I was thrilled or had a whole experience, I wrote; Even when I was in a state of deep confused, I still wrote😂😂-surprised,right? That's to tell how much writing in deeply ingrained in me. Basically, I write, pouring out my heart as the flow builds up within me.
This has made my pen and notepad a great companion to me. And that's the more reason I'm thrilled I found a platform as this.
My Personal Belief
I believe that in life, one of the ways to broaden your horizon is to leverage on the power of like-minded people. And seeing there are various communities (such as this) that provide just that, really make me glad I found a platform as this.
And also I believe we rise by lifting others

My Expectations
Well, besides the fact that “PeakD” sounds like a mountain society of enthusiasts [laughter], I've heard both on YouTube and blogs about PeakD,it's blockchain and the cluster of content curators on the platform and how the platform has thrived on creativity and discussion and, not excluding the fact, that it rewards c
Its users for pursing their passion, even though it might be a little token, gives me a sense of thrill and encouragement.
And so, with that sense of thrill and encouragement, I hope to contribute my quota to the various communities of my interests, as well as, gain as much as I can from like-minded people. This is my expectation on this platform.

Apparently you do NOT have much experience on a paying platform, when you monetize images, you must source them, and for information, Google, Bing, Pinterest, Fakebook, NONE of those is a source for images, if you want a clean account, do not take images from them unsourced: you will start getting downvotes from the community.
Try Pixabay, Pexels, or Unsplash for royalty-free images, and lead your reader right to them by posting the URL when you get the image. Same for quotes, make sure to source your quotes as well and keep them brief.
Take your time and do not allow yourself to get overwhelmed, ask for help when you are unsure of things.

You really need to pull that Facebook image, go to one of the royalty-free websites and pick another one, unless you know the creator of that image and you have been given permission to use it IF they are the creator or owner of it.
