Did you know that at age of 15, he was expelled from school for eccentric behavior? Salvador always was very unique and didn’t follow rules. But later he graduated with honors. His relationship with parents cannot be called good. Dali was constantly in conflict with them. It got to the point that his father cursed him and kicked him out of the family house forever. Later, in his biography book, Salvador said that his parents considered him the reincarnation of his older brother, who died in childhood.
It’s true that all talented people have some strange habits. And, of course, Salvador had them. His strange habit was to sleep in a chair. Also, he kept the key in his hand, and put a metal plate under it. But why did he do it? Salvador's wife was 10 years older than him. After several decades of marriage, Dali bought a castle for his wife, in which she lived alone. He was allowed to visit his spouse only with her written permission. After the death of his wife, Dali became isolated and almost stopped painting. They had no children.
