Hello Hivers!
Since this is my first post ever on this site, I'd want to take the opportunity to introduce myself.
You can call me Jay, but my real name is Jay Maurice.
Since I finished college, I have been working as a game developer.
I've been working professionally in my chosen industry for the past 20 years.
After spending 8–10 hours a day in front of a computer, I'm seeking for a hobby that will allow me to share my passion for home improvement, game creation, travel, motorcycles, Airsoft, carpentry and photography.
Sincerely, before I noticed my wife always occupied with her phone and oddly snapping pictures of practically everything, I had no idea what Hive was or how it operated.
She seldom ever posts photos to her primary social media sites, so why does she keep taking pictures of everything, I kept wondering.
What are you doing, I then questioned her.
I write blogs! She spoke. Now what?
Do you get paid for that? She just gave me a frightful look.
I'll stop bringing up my wife now because this is just my introduction.
But that's how I first learned about Hive.
Since the pandemic began, I've been working from home, and I'm grateful for the extra time it gives me to spend with my family.
Moving on, I'm excited to explore the community of my interests and I can't wait to meet new people with the same hobbies.
That is all I can say at this time because I'm still getting used to the site.
I can't wait to start my Hive journey and meet new friends !
