My visit to the handcraft fair

in OCD2 years ago

After walking around the Eco Park all day, in the evening when we left through Gate No. 6 of the Eco Park, we saw the beginning of this fair after walking a short distance. At first we could not understand what is happening here! After coming a little further, I realized that the largest handicraft fair of the state of West Bengal is being held here....

It was about 10 to 12 times bigger than the Handicraft Fair we held in Barasat earlier. I saw such a big handicraft fair that day for the first time in my life. Both me and my friend were surprised to see such a big fair. After leaving Eco Park we were supposed to come home immediately but we both decided to spend some time here after seeing such a big fair. Then we started wandering around the handicraft fair. Wandering around the handicraft fair, we saw things that were beyond our imagination. The handiwork of the artisans was a sight to behold. It was nice to see their perfect handiwork.

Using bamboo, wood, vedas, paper, clay and many other materials, they made so many beautiful things that caught everyone's attention. We initially thought of buying some things from this handicraft fair because we liked many things but we didn't because of another fear. We already knew that at this time the bus is so crowded that we will not be able to buy anything and bring it home. For this reason I decided not to buy anything from the fair despite the desire to buy. However, if you don't buy it, it doesn't matter if you can't see it, so later I wandered from one part of the fair to another and saw everything well. I also did a lot of photography while traveling.

Another thing that I liked here is that people were sitting here making different kinds of things with bamboo, vedas in front of everyone which is usually seen in villages. People were standing and enjoying making those things. We hardly value handicrafts so day by day these handicrafts are disappearing from us. We should appreciate this art and artists and take this craft forward. The purpose of such a big handicraft fair held in West Bengal was to showcase these artists and their works so that everyone can understand how beautiful these handicrafts of ours are.

Thousands of people flocked to this handicraft fair. People were buying various things. I enjoyed seeing the bargains between buyers and sellers. We spent around 30 minutes in this fair. I felt very good to visit but since we went later in the evening and we were also busy to return home, we left for home early from there by bus. I don't know exactly how long this handicraft fair will last but I want to go again and buy some things.

I see you're a new user on Hive, so first of all, welcome to our platform. I also see you have not have an introduction post yet, so please do one for the community, to know you a bit better. You can post the intro post here, in OCD community.

And since I'm here' I'm going to drop you a few suggestions to help you navigate better on our platform.

We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in Market Friday or Daily Blog community.

OCD community is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide. I also put together a list of communities, which is not complete, there are much more communities on Hive, but it will help you get started.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse! Leave this post here, you'll get it right next time.

Alright sir , thank you very much for the suggestion.

I have also done the introduction post as you advised me..
