RE: ...

This crisis could change our mental schemes and in this case, a change of attitude could make the problem less burdensome. In my years of life, I have seen personal desires destroy great ideas. There is not enough room in the world for the number of leaders who want to be heard and followed. The idea of consensus, of reaching agreements, is an idea that is sold and no one buys. Pitiful! In my country there is a saying for this: Too much chieftain for too little land. In the case of Steemit, I feel like when you have disagreements with your partner and you have to leave her, but you still love her. Of course, I understand that there is no life to lose opportunities, especially with this uncertain future. Good day to you, @rok-sivante.

I’d contend this statement...

Amidst 7 billion people, there’s an abundance of room for leaders. In fact, we may need them.

Though I’d infer from your statement that the type of leadership to which that perspective would imply be the type with followers of millions - which need not at all be the case.

Leadership doesn’t require hundreds, thousands, or millions of followers. True leadership need not even require followers.

True leadership is an embodiment of character. Of standing up for one’s principles, walking in their truth, setting an example not for praise of followers but because it’s the right thing to do and what they’re here to do.

I’d contend that those who may be wanting to be heard and followed may yet have to go through a great deal maturation if that is their motivation. If they’re focused on having a spotlight rather than being an embodiment of higher principles for the sole purpose of doing so, it’s probably that they’re more likely seeking validation and approval for childish immaturities than actually exemplifying leadership...

And in the process, what example would they be setting? If viewed as “leadership,” it’d seem a pretty empty form.

Is the celebrity with millions of followers because she shows off her as more of a true leader than a father who sets a positive example for his child? Is the corrupt politician who does backdoor deals to profit his crony colleagues at the cost of starving millions more a leader than a “nobody” who stands firm as a source of strength for a single friend in a time of need?

I get where you’re coming from, though challenge the notion of “leadership” the statement represents as a societal/cultural paradigm of leadership, as it’s one in dire need of upgrading should we step into the true type of leadership needed to advance our collective out of the global mess those old form of narcissistic “leadership” have gotten us into.

Damn. Look at what you started. Lol. ☺️

LOL. I hope to hear you speak sometime on these and other fascinating and controversial topics. It must be "great" to exchange ideas like these with a good cup of coffee (or a good wine). Greetings, my friend

hmmmm... I've been contemplating doing some video lately... 😑🤔

I'm sure it'll be great to hear from you! Anyway, it will be interesting for you to publish your music again. You have a few fans who will surely thank you for it!
