Last weekend was my first camping trip of the season and I decided the best way to start off was by visiting Garden of the Gods in Shawnee National Forest, since I've never been there before.
After exploring Garden of the Gods and hiking a few trails, we found a perfect spot to set up camp. We were near a cliff with a great view of the forest around us and the sunset setting over the landscape.
The next morning, after packing up and hiking a few more trails, we drove down the road to the outpost where we could pick up a drink. We got out of the car and across the road we spotted him, in all his infamous glory.. The Bigfoot.
Sasquatch himself.
There had to be selfies, of course.
