The year 2021 has been a tiring year for me as a medical team, this is due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus throughout the world, as a medical team we continue to work extra so we don't know holidays.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic attacked, we have made various efforts, one of which is by socializing to the public about the dangers of the virus for themselves and their families. This activity did not immediately get a positive response, we were often rejected and had to return.
However, increasing the prevalence of cases makes us have to keep working, through sectoral support such as the police and the army, we conduct a mask wearing mask for road users and visitors to public facilities, we also encourage every village to establish a Covid-19 alert post.
This command post was established to identify people who have a history of traveling between regions and abroad, so that every citizen who carries out these activities must be examined by the team first and quarantined at home if they do not experience symptoms of Covid-19.
Those identified with these symptoms will be sent to the Covid-19 patient handling area provided by the government and if additional symptoms are found, such as shortness of breath, they will be referred to the hospital.
Distance restrictions and the use of masks are not the main solution in reducing the spread of the virus, as of February 2021, we again socialize the importance of vaccines for them as an effort to increase antibodies.
Every day we provide vaccinations in health facilities and visit the center of the crowd. With a target of 13,000 people in 50 villages, we were overwhelmed, so we had to add 24 people.
The hard work so far has paid off, we have been able to vaccinate 45% of the target to be given the vaccine.
