Other Niche Communities Curation Report #134

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 134th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Caja de Regalo "Piñas rumberas" || Gift Box "Party Pineapples" [ENG-ESP]

Greetings! Last week we have received a very special order in which I have put all my heart, well this also resulted from a conversation with my boss regarding the size in which the design should be made and the resolution of that conversation ended in do it the way you want, I think this awakened my side that loves to be creative and experiment a little with color and I decided from that point to do everything my way.

Restaurants DEVASTATED as lockdowns continue in Da Nang

This is not unique to Da Nang, Vietnam, or even Asia. We hear stories about how the restaurant industry has been nearly collapsed by Covid restrictions around the world such as when New York City has stated that up to 50% of all of their pubs and restaurants will likely be closed permanently. These stories are global, i realize this but these pics are the only stories that I can verify with my own eyes by simply going for a walk.

I want you to keep in mind that all of these photos were taken on just ONE street in my area called An Thuong 4, which at one point was a bastion of activity and affluence attracting customers from all over the world. Now, you can most likely walk end-to-end and never spot another person.

Walk An African Forest

Slowly easing into life on this tranquil island town situated between the Indian Ocean and St Lucia Estuary one can enjoy walking during daylight without a worry, nights preferably keep off the roads with Hippo coming up to forage on the lawns and in small forest at the edge of town.

First tree ones eyes are attracted to, standing out above most is the cabbage-tree (Cussonia spicate Thunb.) in Afrikaans we call this the kiepersol.

Wish you were here - Armeria maritima

I have probably beat all possible records with this plant.

I am not sure if I managed to keep it a live for 3 weeks :p
No, I am not proud. It was a pretty one after all and I already imagined now nice it would look in bigger pot all green and bushy.
And then I killed it!

Coffee, cookies and few words...

This week is gonna be hectic, too many pending works need to be done timely. Also, I have to start working on a new project and for that, I have to go outside of the city. This weekend I have also finished one of the projects and I am really proud of it. But still waiting to hear from the project owner's final decision. Recently I have been involving myself in many creative works which I have never done before, also working in the social media marketing sector as a newbie and learning a lot about marketing. Sometimes I become rigid and out of ideas and that time I feel so exhausted. But I am happy that this summer is giving me so much than I would ever imagine.

Some of the best nature monochromes by me.

Just like everyone here on Black and White community, I am also a huge fan of monochromatic photographs. Today I am sharing some of the finest monochromatic photographs I have captured during my trip to Kasol India.

HOW TO EXPRESS YOUR CREATIVITY

In my last post, I talked about the different ways to bring joy into your life. I shared insights to why having joy in our heart is very important. Thinking about the post after publishing it, I realized I did not talk about the part that involve us exploring our creativity. This is one way to bring joy into your life, so, I decided I will make a fresh post discussing how to go about expressing our inner creativity in other to better our lives and also bring joy to us. I did mentioned in my last post how so many persons drown themselves in negativity, well, working with your creativity everyday will not only distract you from those negative thoughts but also put positivity inside of you. Well, you can read more about the different Ways to bring more joy to your life HERE.
