Other Niche Communities Curation Report #168

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 168th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Community: Wednesday WalkAuthor: @dark-uncle

A very smoky, hot Wednesday to enjoy some time outside.

Today was certainly the smokiest its been all summer. Originally I was planning on going to go on a hike to the top of nearby Chamise Peak. With all the smoke, figured I could go check out "The Bluffs" and go down to the river at the Turtle Bay East open space area.

The start of Palisades Trail and on top of the bluffs. Back in the day, there was no trail, benches, and a fence about a yard from the edge of the bluff. So smoky, can't even see the mountains in the distance.

My Exciting Wednesday Walk that Made me smile

My Wednesday walk, started early yesterday, at exactly 4:45 AM, Philippine time (still Wednesday in PST zone today)..when I left our house, and because our place is under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine, the protocols that we need to follow are all very strict, not so many public vehicles on the road, so I walked, more than 2 kilometers Hehehe..well it was fun, the environment was safe because police operatives were scattered in different places because of the protocols for Covid19, and I also had the chance to count my steps Hehehe nice one. So while I was walking I was smiling and very excited to see how many steps I have done to reach the place where my cousin was waiting for me. She failed to get a community passes so she couldn't enter our place. Everything happens for a reason Hehehe if she has the passes I can't do the walk and count my steps.

A peaceful Wednesday evening walk with the madman inside my mind

It's been one of those all-day-rain kinda days, and now the clouds remain, clogging the sky and clinging to the ground in such a way that a pessimist might confuse it all as evidence of impending doom and gloom.

However, if you focus on the positive—as you always should—and if you know exactly where to look, you will see that off in the distance the clouds have not obscured Hope Pass, nor Mount Hope herself.

A BIRDHOUSE WITH FLARE~~~🌈💒🦜 #SMAP ROUND 31~~~THE CONTEST

For many years now, our farm has been a symbol of a simpler lifestyle. A place where my family and friends could just be themselves, feel free and enjoy nature. The general store was the only place in town that you could buy the things you needed. They had everything, from your basics, milk, bread and eggs to nuts and bolts, gas and candles. We frequented it often, sometimes just to take the kids for ice cream cones. We knew the owners on a first name basis, Tom and Mary were the real McCoys when it came to personal service. If they didn't have what you needed, they would go get it, no extra charge.

The mercury levels in the hammerhead shark (Sphyrna zygaena), should we eat its meat?🦈

Once again, I bring you content that I consider to be of quality, this takes several hours of reading, comprehension and writing.💡📚

But more than that, this is one more publication so that together we can appreciate and contemplate how wonderful our ocean is!

[ESP-ENG] ¿Son justas las sanciones de Bottas y Stroll? / Are Bottas' and Stroll's penalties fair?

The Hungarian Grand Prix started with an accident, with two protagonists that will be much talked about in this F1 summer, good friends of Hive and Full Deportes, we will talk about what happened with Valtteri Bottas and Lance Stroll, drivers who are in the eye of the hurricane for what happened in that infernal first corner of the Hungaroring.

To the hill with my love to see the perfect nature.🤗😍

Hello everyone, we didn't posted for a while. We were focused on exams on University and we still didn't clear all of them 😂, but at least we have a summer break to take our brains on vacation. Also Dominik is lately very into Splinterlands and almost all his attention on internet goes there since the Splinterlands is in it's bloom.

The time of this post is back two months ago when Dominik and I were in Čiovo and Pirovac for a weekend and here I will meet you with the hill next to Pirovac were you can take a walk to the top and see a nice view.

A Millennial's 6th Working Anniversary Celebration (Part 2 of 2)

It's me again! And I'm here to discuss the remaining three indispensable lessons I gained throughout my six years in the corporate world. If you haven't read Part 1 of this write up, you still have time to catch up.

If time is not on your side though, I've summarized the lessons I shared in my first post below:

Lesson 1: Salary is not everything (well at least, for me)
Lesson 2: Avoid micromanaging. It’s disgusting.
Lesson 3: Why work hard when you can work smart instead?

Now you are ready to learn some more! Let's keep going! ❤️

What is Your Early Morning To-Do? | Here Is Mine

It is a well-known fact that a good start to the day has a positive cascading effect all through our day. That means a good start allows us to do more, be more, and be involved more. Not only that, but also we can go about the day in high spirits, which allows us to deal with most things thrown at us effctively.
