This is a report for OCD curation for June 2022.
Here we will be presenting data on curation for authors and communities that are supported by OCD.
The following topics will be covered:
- number of votes per day
- unique authors voted daily and monthly
- daily HIVE rewarded
- unique communities voted daily and monthly
- top communities
- number of comments voted daily
The period that will be covered here is starting from Jan to June 2022, with a focus on June 2022.
Number of votes per day
Here is the chart for the number of votes per day for 2022.
As we can see the number of votes per day has been quite constant with a small drop in the priod. On average the number of votes per day for June 2022 was around 160, while for the whole month it is 4765.
Unique authors voted daily and monthly
Here is the chart for the number of unique authors voted daily.
There is a similar trend here as the overall count for votes.
In June the average authors voted on daily is around 142. For the whole month there is a total of 1717 authors voted.
Auhtors voted per month
Here is the chart for the number of authors voted on a monthly basis.
We can notice a small drop in the number of monthly authors voted. From 2300k in Jan 2022 to 1717 in June 2022.
Daily HIVE rewarded
Here is the chart for the amount of HIVE rewarded daily.
Note that this is HIVE eqvivalent numbers, since half of the authors rewards are paid in HBD.
Quite a steady numbers here. On average around 2.5k HP was distributed on daily basis from the OCD rewards.
Unique communities voted daily and monthly
Here is the chart for the number of communities voted per day.
A steady daily numbers here as well. On average around 50 communities voted on a daily basis.
On a monthly basis the chart looks like this:
Between 160 to 180 communities voted on a monthly basis. The number of communities voted is slightly up in June compared to May 2022.
Top communities

The Hive Opne Mic is on the top, followed by the Hive Gaming and then the Movies community.

Number of comments voted daily
Here is the chart for the numbers of comments voted on daily.
On average 11 comments voted per day in June 2022.
A 160 votes per day from OCDB, supporting 142 authors daily in June, 1717 authors for the month. A 50 communities per day supported, or 165 on a monthly basis. Some small numbers of comments voted as well.

Cuarting thoulsounds of authors and houndreds of communities per month is for sure not an easy task. You guys have been building this for so long and are real pros at what you are doing.
Something to note: comments voted are mostly @poshtoken shares of users sharing other authors posts effectively on Twitter which also has a chance to get the post curated and the comment rewarded.
We have something in the works to also curate more regular good comments in general soon.
Would love some recommendations for improving the THGaming Hive Community. We have been working with our Curators behind the scenes and interactions are at an ATH.
A lot of private accounts are running daily competitions using the THGaming Community. Does this affect our 'credibility' on Hive? Tia

We don't generally incubate tribes without proper verification of how tokens were distributed as we prefer fair distributions of tokens where the team behind it buy it themselves rather than allocate a big "premine" to themselves. It causes unnecessary complications for investors and we prefer not to be involved with something like that. That said we have plans on supporting some communities/tribes that do fair airdrops based on past user activity within their communities or based on everyone's hivepower stake, etc. Something along the lines of how 3speak, ragnarok, posh has done in the past.
I'm super interested in Spk.network, just started researching it properly after hearing about their ecosystem on a Sunday Twitter Space.
