DAY 1 of 30 ― The Story Behind Me Username

Blogging for me is a blessing & a curse.

And more of the latter when I have work and zero time-management skill to back up the hobby. But I agree a hundred percent that if you want to build a fruitful routine, you must adjust accordingly and make it work by doing it every single day for at least 30 days, without missing a beat.

And I thought through @tegoshei's blogging challenge, I can finally create more content here. I allotted 2 hours to write from 1pm-3pm and I have already designed all the thumbnails to be used for the challenge.

So what more excuse do I need, right?

DAY 1 of 30 ― Your Blog's Name/Username

My real surname is Olaivar minus the T, and I am an artist.

The inspiration behind the URL was @santoscesart. I am not very sure where he mentioned it, but he basically added a T to his first name Cesar to have -art in his name.

And it's perfect for my surname ― olaivart.

Having a brand for yourself is very important. I have used all kinds of names since I started blogging on Tumblr (way-to-atlantis from a song I dearly love), and even I have newer ones I use like Answer Shop for my BTS related fanart.

But if I have to stick to one brand name and make a portfolio website after the brand, it would be olaivart. It's the perfect representation of myself (surname) and what I do (art), hence the username.

Let me re-introduce myself.
I am @olaivart, and I am an artist.

I enjoy drawing faces, painting landscape, taking photographs, and writing musings. I started blogging on Steemit year 2017. My username back then was @ablckbrd, and later came up with @olaivart in December of the same year.
