Good Friends are Rare to Find!

in OCD2 years ago

We have friends that we don’t often see because of them living in the other end of the city. All of us are quite busy with work and the time after work we usually spend with family.

We tried arranging something for last week but because of other priorities we ended up postponing it to today. Eventually, we managed to make it happen. We prepared some home cooked food and freshly brewed coffee and spent the evening talking about various things. We laughed, we caught up and had long discussions while my dogs Sakura and Haru were playing in the background.

That really proves that distance does not define the relationship and bond you have built with special people. It is about clicking as friends and being on the same wavelength.

Regardless of whether it has been a very busy day at work, the evening was spent lovely with two great individuals. Hearing them talking about the good news that came about this year for them, inspired me. I am so happy for them and I look forward to meeting them soon again.

The bottom line is, it isn’t important whether you are near or far from each other. The crucial piece is that you know you can rely at each other when needed. As soon as you manage to assemble, it will feel like you haven’t really been physically apart from one another.

I agree, good friends are rare to find, that's why we should make sure to appreciate and keep those we have.

For this type of topics, I'd like to suggest Daily Blog community in the future. OCD community is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide. I also put together a list of communities, which is not complete, there are much more communities on Hive, but it will help you get started.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse. Leave this post here, you'll get it right next time.
