I made an ML project at work before (list all adjustments done to an image, ex. darkness, contrast, temperature) — didn't finish it. I struggled with the HW requirements and unable to transition from a prototype.
Still I didn't lose any interest and hope to build a home automation someday to help save overhead costs—someday.
Yeah this is field is very intriguing, and also the fact that it has massive applications it increased my interest even more.
It's a bit too hard for me, maybe I should be OK doing non-ML coding even if I'm interested in it. Will ML APIs become more easier to use, or it will just become more complex in the next years, what do you think?
I hope what you said regarding APIs, if that happens that will be a great and the community would grow even more. But in the mean time, I also think that in the next few years ML would be literally everywhere and it's development would be key to notice. Still fingers crossed! 🤞
