I’m kind of into history
After living in a few countries that had been occupied by National Socialists during WW2, I had a greater need to know the history of these nations. Not only the medieval history, but more recent history. Back to medieval history, though, I did like it when that elitist politician was thrown from the window into the streets. Defenestration is a much underrated way of handling corrupt bastards.One of these countries had a museum with a Soviet T-34 tank near the front entrance. Although I’m a strident anti-communist, I was intrigued by the machine and how it was used to defeat that other dingbat commie, Hitler. When Soviets stormed the capital, they were greeted as heroes, but you know the rest of the story… Iron Curtain and all…

I really miss creating, but work and classes are twin bullies who are constantly wrecking my creative dreams… plus I have farm work to do as well, managing 16 acres is a big hassle.

Kinda similar to the last one, but smaller, pointy-eared and way more hyper!I feel a sense of sorrow looking back over the years, I wish I’d done more to prepare for the disasterous times the world is going through. Having full time work has seemed like a bit of a safety bubble, but between the occasional psycho deadline and the constant push to learn new skills, I’m feeling a bit trapped. Although creativity can be a borderline waste of time, part of me wonders if there’s a silver lining in making crazy projects that I just haven’t found yet.
