VOLUNTEER PLANTS MAKE UP FOR MY SHORTCOMINGS

in OCD5 years ago

Volunteers are always helping out!

Each year, I am able to start far less seeds than I'd ideally like. Thankfully, we get a number of volunteers each year that choose to come up on their own, allowing us to have a much more diverse harvest than we would without them. In this video, I share about some Chamomile, Passionfruit, Purslane, Toothache Plant, Catnip, Sunflowers, Tomatoes, Basil & Malabar Spinach that all chose to volunteer in our garden this year. It's such a huge blessing!

Love the volunteers. In zone 5a I expanded my garden this year. To my surprise some tomato plants stared growing in this once grass area. Also some purslane started growing. Couldn't find it around before.

Don't have any lizards around here. Instead I gather toads.

Pat out.

Cool! Love them volunteers for sure, and toads are great workers too! LOL - "Pat out" - Thanks much!

Yeah
I like toothache plants.
Because so many people experience it.

I enjoyed the tour to your garden. Almost all of them are alien to me - Passionfruit, Purslane, Toothache Plant, Catnip.. 😅

Cool that you get those extra seeds. Never heard of volunteer plants. Quite interesting.

I try to leave the volunteer plants to grow, I figure if they were hardy enough to survive then they deserve to live!

how are you dear friend @papa-pepper good afternoon
Those are the things that I love about Mother Earth, that you always have many benefits without having sown it.
Have a beautiful night and a happy rest
