Why it benefits YOU and the community to help newbies grow their accounts!

in OCD5 years ago

I believe that Steemit is all about a community looking out for each other and helping each other out! Someone like me might not have the best writing skills, but that doesn't mean I don't have value to add to the community.

I am sure there are many people who join Steemit on a daily basis to be able to share their creative content and in return get rewarded by the community. Believe me, I know how encouraging it is to make your first $0.05 and then making your first $2.00 after that and so on. So, why not share your Steem ''wealth'' with them by Upvoting, Resteeming for exposure, commenting etc if you have the means to make an impact with what you've earned. Isn't that what it's all about? And in the end it really doesn't cost you anything that you accumulated except Resource Credits and Voting Mana.

Think how beneficial it would be if for you and the rest of the community if you for example had enough Steem Power to help someone whose content has great potential and understands the concept of giving back to the community. Giving them that first Upvote and that first $1.00 or $10.00 not only motivates them to create more quality content, but it also allows them to grow their account as a fast pace.

In a few months they would have accumulated a decent amount of Steem and Steem Power to not only Upvote your posts and generate revenue for you, but they would be able to do the same for the next person that joins and whats to make an impact too.

This ensures the growth of the Steem Community and the growth of prosperous people because what's the point of having wealth if you can't help others, especially when it doesn't cost you anything.

Lots of Steem love,
