The hive community is now much more aware of plagiarism. But many are still doing nonstop copy-pasting, which should be stopped immediately. Copy posts can destroy your ID. And remember, @spaminator and @hivewatchers are always watching you, like Heimdall. So there is no substitute for the original content.
No matter how well-written your article is, if it contains plagiarism, then it will have no value. Google doesn't rank plagiarized content; even it can blacklist an entire site.
So, whether you write the article yourself or with someone else, you must see if it is plagiarized Free or not.
Plagiarism is when you use other people's speeches, words, or ideas without attributing the reference and pass them off as your own. If a part of the article is copied from somewhere, then it is plagiarized content.
There are many tools to check the plagiarism of any content. The best and most popular tool is the CopyScape. However, it is a premium tool, which means you have to buy credit with money (dollars) to use. Since I am only talking about free tools in this article, I will not say anything about CopyScape.
Here are the five best free plagiarism checker tools:
1. Dupli Checker
This is one of my favorite free tools. Although its interface is nothing ahem, its plagiarism detection algorithm is excellent.
Advantages:
- It's completely free. You do not have to pay anything to use.
- Easy to use. The interface is suitable for beginners.
- You can check the article by direct copy-pasting or by uploading a doc file.
- Registered users will be able to check 50 times per day.
Disadvantages:
- If you have not registered, you can only check once a day. It's not really a problem, it doesn't take you more than 5 minutes to register, and it's completely free.

This is incorrect.
Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work.
Thus if part of an article is copied from somewhere but attributed (even misattributed) to someone else it is, by definition, not plagiarized.
Thanks for pointing this out. This is actually just a typo! It was a year ago and I can't remember why I wrote like this! Because I am well aware of what plagiarism is.
Edited! Thanks again.
Wow, this is good writeup. I guess one needs to be visiting them regularly so as to avoid plagiarism.
Very informative posts. Though I create my own blogs and not copy and pasting from somewhere, it's nice to be informed. Thanks also for the reco of free images and plag checking sites/apps.
