Hello Hive Community, good evening, How's Life Going?, Cooking is everyone's hobby, right? cooking is fun. But not everyone is smart or the same in cooking.

In a previous post, I have discussed the cooking tradition of "Kuah Belangong" in Aceh, I see many who are interested in the cooking tradition of "Kuah Belangong", therefore in this post I will continue to discuss "Kuah Belangong".

Coincidentally, after last week I cooked "Kuah Belangong" at a gathering with my friends, and today I also cooked "Kuah Belangong" at a friendly gathering of alumni of my Islamic school, this event was held to welcome and celebrate the graduation of my classmate in 2021 this.

However, what distinguishes this "Kuah Belangong" from the previous one?

Basically the difference is the cooking portion, this time the cooking portion is very large, because I have to provide this "Kuah Belangong" dish to 150 people, calculated from the number of event participants and invited guests. Therefore, the meat that is cooked is beef, with the number and weight reaching 20 Kg of beef. The custom of the Acehnese is that at events or parties that bring more than 30 people, what is cooked is beef which is very large in number.

I bought beef weighing 20 Kg, then I chopped the meat into a fairly small size and then I put this beef into a very large cooking pan, then I just put in the spices and spices typical of Acehnese cuisine. Regarding the taste offered in "Kuah Belangong" it is very delicious. And for those of you who are curious about the taste of "Kuah Belangong", I can give you an idea to imagine how it tastes, in my opinion, the taste of "Kuah Belangong", more or less resembles beef curry or other curries, but keep in mind, what is unique from the taste of "Kuah Belangong" are Acehnese spices and herbs that are second to none in Indonesia, even in Southeast Asia.

And the friendly meeting that we held was finished running so smoothly without any obstacles and problems. Everyone really enjoyed this “Kuah Belangong”.
