I'm feeling so great writing my first blog. This is my way of expressing myself to the fullest.
Blogging is an amazing way to share my experience, thoughts, and ideas with you.
Let me say something about myself. My name is Mary Rose, my family and closest friends call me "queen" or
"Kwin". It is my nickname given by my mom since I was born on September 8, which is Mother Mary's birthday
in the catholic religion. Thus, giving me the nickname "queen".
I am from a small town in Mindanao, Philippines. Born and raised with my grandparents I am filled with grandparent's love. Growing up, I am surrounded by adults and uncles that develop my interest in
Hardrock music which people cannot believe in my "girly attitude". I also spent most of my childhood playing outdoor and school activities. I was always included in school activities, members of clubs/musicals, and dance troupes which helped me till college to get a scholarship. Unfortunately, I did not practice my degree in Nursing.
I went to Cebu as a freshman and landed a job in the BPO industry. As a young mother, my parents and grandparents helped me so much to overcome being alone in the new City to work and since then 8 years after, I am still currently residing in Cebu.
Working in the BPO/outsource business encourages me to push myself more every day. I met good friends and was able to travel.
Learning this platform HIVE was introduced to me by my friend/colleague Sasha or @explorewithsasha.
I am looking forward to sharing with you my life experiences and struggle of being a single and a young parent and how my travel and adventures with my friends. By the way, I am a fur momma too, I have a dog named Coco and he is 7 years old already, and can't wait to share my fur momma journey with you too. Please look forward to more
