WORD WAR

WORD WAR During school, maybe I was one of the naughtiest students, or maybe even. Even though I always went to class, almost every week my parents had to go to school for their child's behavior. There was no great motivation for school in my opinion at that time it felt very uninteresting, except for history lessons. Even though I liked to draw since I was little, art lessons didn't really interest me much. history seems to make me imagine situations & people in different dimensions, but it shapes the world I live in now. For example, what was Chairil Anwar's expression when he answered "Boeng Ajo Boeng" when asked what the appropriate text was for the independence poster that Affandi was making, then it was discovered that Chairil Anwar got the sentence from a sex worker selling himself at Pasar Senen. Or was there someone in the middle of Budi Utomo's meeting who made a joke to lighten the mood a bit. However, reading the history of any country in the world will always be filled with wars that mark the magnitude of the war. From time to time the struggle for territorial power, religion, politics, and others is always filled with war. Even if a country like Thailand has never experienced a war against invaders, there are still internal wars within its kingdom. War is always present in human life, even further I imagine that war is a basic human instinct, just like sex. No matter how tired John Lennon was of shouting about peace, war was still going on. What distinguishes war from one era to another is only the form and weapons used We may have arrived at the era of the Internet Renaissance, the heyday of the internet. Life can't be separated from the internet, from buying fried foods to paying the mortgage, everything has been done with internet-based applications. Ever since Mark Zuckerberg said he would seriously focus on the metaverse, everyone, even companies of today's world caliber, flocked to enter the deeper world of the internet. But again, wars still happen, debates at the level of politicians on Twitter to anonymous accounts in the comments column of a celebrity's Instagram are still going on. To a more extreme level, paying buzzers to defend themselves or attack someone has become commonplace. War comes in a new form, the bullet is argument and hatred while the ultimate weapon is words.

daily This Word War project is my reflection on seeing a plant phenomenon that turns out to be political. Cannabis has a long history in world civilization, I see it specifically in the use of paper and textiles. Painting is a new world for me, especially using hemp as a canvas. There is not much information and the price is not cheap. Mom uses a decorative canvas cam
