I, Manzoor Hussain S/O Mr. Muhammad Hussain am a permanent resident of Quetta, currently residing in Karachi (since 2003) completed my basic education from St. Francis Grammar School Quetta in 1983, did my Bachelor's from University of Balochistan in 1993. Later, awarded with Master's Degree by The Aga Khan University - Institute for Educational Development in the year 2000. Completed English Language course and a one-year Primary Teaching Course (PTC) also a short course on Census from bureau of Statistics Islamabad.
****Work Experience****
With regard to work experiences, I have gained a huge amount of working experience (thirty (33 years) in various capacities. I started my career as a Primary School Teacher in 1987 and served in Government institutions for fifteen years, prior to this I served as PA to Project Director (Health) Afghan Refugees Organization under the supervision of UNHCR for a short period, later joined The Aga Khan University - Institute for Educational Development and worked in various Academic, Administrative and Management capacities. I had the pride to serve and hold dual positions at certain times. I served in, and successfully completed seven (7) academic projects of The Aga Khan University during the period of twelve years as an Academician as well as an Administrator. As teacher, Tutor, Teacher Educator, Professional Development Teacher, Program Officer, Administrative Officer, Protocol Officer, Liaison Officer, Project Coordinator, Campus Administrator and Research Associate.
•Can understand and speak English, Urdu, Persian (Dari) and Pushto. Punjabi and Brahvi to an extent.
•Can read and write Arabic language fluently.
•Two years’ Computer exposure of working on Windows. Also conversant with INTERNET and E-mail.
•Capable of selecting and developing/enriching curriculum and appropriate materials for professional programs.
•Capable of writing reports of professional programs.
•Poetry, article writing, translating articles from English to Urdu, English to Dari, Urdu to Dari, drama and singing, performed/ Performing as stage secretary (compare) in various religious, professional, social and musical functions in Dari, Urdu and English Languages.
•Performed as background commentator (Children’s Program) on Pakistan Television Corporation (Quetta Center) and recited poems on Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Quetta several times.
•Experience of developing, conducting and evaluating training programs for teachers on primary school improvement.
•Involved in professional development of teachers in the area of action research, so that the teachers reflect on their teaching and create opportunities for change.
