ABOUT SET TRIVIA HQ:
SET Trivia HQ which stands for (Science, Engineering, & Technology Trivia Headquarters) is an online learning and entertainment platform designed to educate viewers on the knowledge of science, engineering, and technology while still having fun. There are various online platforms who employ this same model of educating/entertaining viewers, but what makes SET Trivia HQ different is that its contents have been specifically crafted to science, engineering, and tech related affairs only. SET Trivia HQ is built as a home where we want viewers to come seeking for educating and entertaining content on science, engineering, and technology related affairs.
Since our inception on Web 2 platforms (YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok), we have started sharing our video contents which are of three (3) categories so far. We started with short form video content, but sooner, long form video contents will be included. Below is a brief of the (3) video category we've put out so far.
The following are the video categories that will be included moving forward;
Word Search Trivia: This is basically where science, engineering, and technology related terminologies (words) are hidden in between random letters and the viewer is expected to spot them out within a given timeframe. It's similar to the conventional word search game, but it's gets more interesting and interactive with SET Trivia HQ.
Would You Rather Trivia: This is a video content we've observed that has the ability to retain viewers attention if crafted the right way. It's basically a video content that presents the viewer with two (2) choices of either similar or contrasting item/event to pick from, and at times, it may give an estimated percentage of how the choices will be picked. We've prepared something special for science, engineering, and tech enthusiasts around this type of video content.
Fact Finding Trivia: This is basically where viewers will be presented with well seasoned facts about science, engineering, and technology related affairs.
So far, these are the video content categories we have structured into our system. Going forward, we will continue to improve and introduce more appealing video contents that will excite and educate our viewers.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER:
I'm Olowu Kayode Samuel (@k-banti), and I am the founder of SET Trivia HQ.
I'm a graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the prestigious Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos state, Nigeria. I'm a trained electrical engineer. I also work as a teacher/instructor who teaches tech related courses in organizations and schools. I acqired my training at Ceter4Tech in the year 2019, and since then I've developed the passion for tech related affairs.
WHY WE CHOSE TO BUILD ON HIVE BLOCKCHAIN:
Its no news that Web 3 (decentralized internet) is the future, and we at SET Trivia HQ wouldn't want to miss out on that. We are aware of the benefits that come with web 3 and we've decided to own a part in it.
We would also love to utilize our Hive account as a medium where we will blog about our milestones, achievements, and advancements as we sail through this journey. More like a personal website.
Also, I the founder (@k-banti), I've been particular about having more of entertainment contents on Hive blockchain, so I guees this will serve as my contribution as regards that.
OUR MODEL OF OPERATION ON HIVE:
Our plan is to continue to share our video contents here on Hive. But in order to drive engagement, we will also be sharing photo slides of question in the body post and we will request viewers to challenge themselves and engage in the comment section before proceeding to watch the video that contains both the questions and answers.
Since we're aware that Hive users also make use of X (formerly Twitter), we will restructure our model of content sharing on X. We will minimize sharing video contents on X till we will no longer share video content on X, rather we will share only photo questions slides on X and then redirect the viewers to Hive to see the correct answer to the questions in the photo slides.
Asides from sharing photo/video contents we will also share/celebrate our achievements, milestones, and give update as regards the state of the project and also future incorporation on our blog.
FUTURE INCORPORATION:
Going forward, we seek to incorporate a reward system that will help us reward loyal and engaging viewers. Asides from rewarding viewers for watching and engaging on our content, we would also be incorporating a mobile game application for SET Trivia HQ. This mobile game application will be used to run contests. The content is basically a quiz which will be based on the vidoe contents that has been previously shared on our hive blog. That's an added advantage for viewers who will dedicatedly follows our content. A reward system will be designed to reward them based on their score.
We will also be looking forward to creating our very own community on Hive or collaborate with an already existing Hive community. Let's anticipate all plans to go accordingly.
In conclusion, we hope our idea/input on the Hive blockchain is welcomed. We also look forward to the community's support in every form. Your engagement with our contents, your interaction with us, observations and recommendations of any form, and most importantly your suggestions will be highly welcomed. We're also open to receiving delegations.
