A dinner with the devil

in OCD3 years ago

Life has always been a battle, a very tough one. A battle between the different choices we make, the different situations we find ourselves. Most times, we are forced to make wrong decisions, wrong decisions that always harm us later.

I got exposed to the rough side of life at the young age of nine. I was a young happy kid untill I clocked ten. One day, my dad found out I wasn't his child, apparently, my mom had cheated on him early into their marriage and had gotten pregnant for the other guy.
When my Dad found out, he was so angry, he beat my mother to pulp and sent us out of the house.

I viewed my mom to be a little wicked and radical. When dad threw us out, she left. She abandoned me that on the street that cold night. I lived alone on the street, everyday, I did one petty work or the other to get money to feed myself. I went as far as pickpocketing but I could barely survive. I got withdrawn from school and there and then I knew I had lost hope.

I never heard from my mom in the next years of my life that followed. Now , I wasn't just a street kid, I was a young man full of adrenaline and wrecking havoc on families. I got information about my dad, found out he later got married to a lady that was already carrying his child. He was a little older than me with 6 months. how ironic!
As for mom,I never heard from her again,I've been trying to track her but I couldn't. seems like she built herself a castle in the forest😂.

A little about myself.
I work for the streets. I get hired by different people to carry out on task or the other. I once killed a man for sleeping with another man's wife. yeah, that's how I make my money. Ever since I was introduced into this business some years ago,I have worked on my self, gone through some challenges and now, I can boast of being the best. That little boy that cried when his mother abandoned him is gone. Many people think I'm heartless, I'm not, or maybe I am. I've passed through hell to still have an heart.
The only one that is greater than I on this side is the devil. and one day, I wish to have a dinner with him.

There's this popular parlance, " When u're dinning with an enemy, always use a long spoon," I didn't have a long spoon, I'll fine with him with my hands.
That dinner with the devil came sooner than expected. I was in the pub drinking one night when some men walked up to me. my presence was needed by their boss who was waiting for me on a different table.
I left to meet their boss, and there she was, seated in all glory and glamour with an evil grin on her face. then it struck me. She was the devil. The only devil that has ever been in my life.

My mother.
Time flew, she changed. I had always prayed for this opportunity, to dine with the devil that shreeded my life to pieces.
Here was an opportunity, and I'll bring her to her knees.

Hi, @shadess
This is a great story.
It looks like this is your first post in the platform, though. I'd advise you to write an introductory post (using the tag #introduceyourself or #introduction), as well as any otehr tag related to your background or areas of interests. Give fellow hivers the chance to know a but more about you so that you can find people with similar interests and open your blog to a bigger readership.
As for this post, if the images are your yours, I'd advice you to provide the sources (there are plenty of videos on YouTube and 3Speak that give new hivers tips about how to do all these things).
Best of luck
