This year is just extraordinary, alot of activities activities are really causing stress upon my arrival back to the university. we were only given 2 weeks holiday to celebrate Christmas and new year which started from 23rd of December 2021 and ended on the 4th of January 2022. Although it was quite relaxing to ease the stress for a while but upon our arrival, Continuous assessment, attendance and project were carried out. I wasn't happy at all because i wasn't prepared for any CAT as of that time.
While still back in various homes,we were constantly reminded that the first semester exam was fast approaching. so,we had to play double role at home either to study and to enjoy the celebration. meanwhile assignment and project were also given. i had to rush back to school early to submit them.
Am privilege to study horticulture as a course at the federal University of agriculture abeokuta, ogun state in Nigeria. I feel lucky and happy to par-take in agriculture. it's purely practical and am really gaining more knowledge to be productive.
Also, it got to my attention that most people in nigeria don't know the true meaning of horticulture as a course in university. The most common definition to them is that "horticulture is the cultivation/production of flowers". I had to orientate them on the definitions, branches, benefits and jobs opportunities if anyone studies the course.
In this first semester, am studying 10 different agricultural courses in which all are very important. We were lucky that most lecturers were calm and understanding.WHY? Because most students hasn't resume yet due to the celebration. So, this gave me the opportunity to cover up some difficulties in the course content.
This week has been choky due to CAT being conducted and since some course CAT were done,most of the students refuse to come for final lectures. it's waste of time for them. I was shocked when i arrived at the hall and saw few students,some were sleeping, engaging with their phones and other were gisting while lecture was on. few students were paid attention to the lecturer.
Most students preferred to stay at their hostel to and study for the main examination. It was shocking to receive the information that by the 24th of January 2022. Examination would commence.
Guys, i really need your encouragement, motivation and prayers to succeed and perform excellently in the upcoming exam in the university.

You have to figure out a way to wriggle yourself out of the situation. School is choking for everyone at the moment, everyone is looking for ways to get through it. And even though it might not look like that presently, I know that we'll find a way to deal with all the pressure, we always do.
