Due to the fact that Boxing Day had always been a bit depressing repetition of the preceding day's festivities, I consider the Boxing Day of 2021 to be my greatest and dearest. It gave me the opportunity to meet my current boyfriend that year and to spend an absolutely unforeseen day. And at the end of the day, I discovered myself out on a date with my boyfriend .
He examines me from head to heel and asks, "Can you splurge on me presently, Boxing Day?" I concurred and replied, "Yes, I can fritter away on you," but I'm confused, although I only have 1000 naira, so I come up with a plan so as not to appear as though I don't have enough. I've been looking for a chance to meet with him for a long time, but when he asked, i knew he was only joking.
Because I don't want to spend any more money than I have with me, I ask him if we can go somewhere peaceful, like a cathedral, so we can have a decent and calm talk. However, he responded by asking, "What are we intending to do at the church?" "It's not a religious service day now."
I ask him again with a crazy mind, "Baby, can you just decide where we should go if you really do not like us to be in the presence of God," but ask a female who is independent and doesn't want to fall into my hands.
Then he suggested, "Let's go to a restaurant," but I wasn't planning on going there even though I knew it would cost more money. Luckily, an old friend of mine called and asked, "Sharon, where are you?" "Can you rendezvous with us at a fast food restaurant close to UBA Bank?"
I then feel more at peace since I know that everything that he agrees to handle must be handled by my colleague. I beg him to allow us go meet my acquaintance at the fast food restaurant, and he consented. The best thing that happened to me that day was taking the tax to the fast-food establishment because it saved me from paying considerably more money.
Then, when we arrived, I was considering how I would start introducing her to my acquaintances, as she was not yet my boyfriend. However, I mustered up the confidence to say, "Guys, meet my gemstone, the guy that my soul is up to," to which he grinned. Because she smiled at me, I knew she wouldn't turn me down. This gave me immense satisfaction in my thoughts.
When she finally sat down, my friend asked her what she was interested in, to which he answered, "Anything he understands is excellent for a lady." Then, my friend places a carbonated beverage order for him. My friend recommended you to us as his priceless gem, but he was unaware that i had not been asked out yet. I hope you are taking excellent care of her, that was what he said at the end to my boyfriend.
He then said, "Yes, I'm attempting my best to bring her happiness because I love her," which warmed my heart. And that gives me the freedom to draw the conclusion, from that day forward that he is my boyfriend. He gave me my first kiss that day, and everything seemed to work like a magic to me simply because I didn't strain myself out over expressing much grammar. Because I thought he would be so difficult to attain when I first spotted him, I had no idea everything would come together for me that day.
He asked me to drive him home after we spent time together with my friends. As we were driving, he turned and stared me directly in the eye, saying, "I don't know what will happen over by saying yes to all the things your best friend ask me, when you haven't even asked me to date you."
When he gave me another shy glance and said, "I love you," I responded, "I love you too." I then smiled and said, "Precious gem, it's all by grace and destiny to bind us together, which is why you refused to answer no to all the inquiries my friend asked you."
I will never forget this day, so let me see what today Boxing Day 2022 will bring.
