Hello Hive Fam!
It's been a long time since I've posted here on Shinebright! For those who don't know.. this secondary account is where I post my shorter form content. I've kind of gotten out of the habbit...but I just really like this photo and so thought i'd pick it back up.
I have a lot of bitcoin maximalists that follow me on twitter and one consistent comment I've seen whenever I talk about Monero... is they seem to have a certain level of respect. They generally don't refer to it as a "shitcoin" like they do pretty much everything else.
I think it may have something to do with the level of user privacy and the fully decentralized/open-source nature. Either way... I thought this was kind of an interesting observation.

I think they also respect doge! As long as you POW and you focus on your community and decentralized exchange you pretty much embody the same principles as BTC!
Nice quick explanation, good to know that BTC maxer respect Monero.
I have more value in Monero that BTC thought ;) Seems quite undervalued at the moment.
Hopefully, more only stores, artisants and content creator will accept Monero as money instead of using current digital currencies that as you mention pretty much throw your privacy out the window.
