It sure does.
Building your own e-car, interesting. It should be simple enough, except the battery. Even the battery isn't too hard, considering I've built my own. The power needed to run a car is just crazy high, so dangerous to work with.

Yeah, they have done some prototype landrovers so there is precedent. Be a cool project anyway. A little 88 short wheel base would be cool.
