Embarrassed a little today, broke my phone!

Ah so we were having fun this weekend, all was going great until we got out of the car and I had my phone in my pocket. Stood up and turned, the phone fell out and you heard that awful sound of it falling flat on the ground with the glass facing down of course...
I can’t complain too badly because it’s the first phone I’ve splintered like this in my life. That’s about 15 years or so of owning a phone so I’m not too bad with that! It does suck though because it happens at bad times when you don’t want to spend more money lol. It worked out though, got a deal on a brand new phone. If I had bought the ‘insurance’ for the phones that they are always trying to sell, I would’ve paid more by now in insurance costs than it was to get the phone. It all works out!

It's never a good day when this happens, although I've never done it myself. Having said that, earlier this year, March, I had both my phones stolen, work and personal, and it was pretty shattering for me. It all worked out, new phone that day personally and a new one the next day at work, but it's never a good thing. The stress and all. I'm glad it worked out for you.
Oh no that's terrible! People are assholes! I hate when people steal stuff, it's so inconvenient and rude!
Hoping the hubby didn't have more elaborate Christmas present plans 🤣 might have ruined it!
Yeah, it was a bit dumb, because within 10 minutes I had both IMEI numbers blocked rendering them useless. They also had biometrics to open them so...Yeah, pretty useless to anyone but me. It happens though, won't be the last time someone has phones stolen.

Yeah, little last minute present! My phone was on the way out for sure but we had been putting off buying a new one since we didn't need a new one. The universe thought otherwise though, apparently! :)

Need over want spending is much more beneficial in the long term...But that seems to be a secret and many don't do it preferring the want over need ethos.
Yeah we are big, don't get it until you need it spenders. The hubby still wear socks from before I even met him and the same 4 pairs of jeans lol
